Location
Godspeed the Plough! will be hosted by
Englewood Christian Church, located in an urban neighborhood on the near-eastside of Indianapolis. Englewood is an Independent Christian Church (part of the Stone-Campbell tradition of churches, which also includes the Disciples of Christ and the Churches of Christ), and the Englewood congregation has been rooted in their neighborhood for over 110 years. Englewood is very active with the Ekklesia Project, and is also home to Doulos Christou Press.

Address:
57 N Rural St
Indianapolis, IN 46201

Driving Directions:
We are about two miles east of the center of Indianapolis, on Rural St. just north of Washington St. You can also reach us from Interstate 465 (the beltway around Indy) by exiting west at the Washington St interchange on the East side (exit 46) , and driving west about four miles. After exiting I-465, and going about 4 miles west on Washington St., you will come to a light at Rural St. Turn Right onto Rural and Englewood is on the right before you reach the next traffic light. You will go past an old school building on your right, and then past our church building. After the church building there is 3 houses and then a large driveway with stone columns on each side, just before you get to our church building. This driveway opens into a parking lot, which will take you to the main entrance of the building.

Housing

Englewood has committed to arranging free housing for conference participants
in the homes of our members and other friends. Please indicate on the registration form,
whether or not you will need a place to stay. This housing will be made available for
Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, but if you would like to arrive earlier or stay later,
please let us know and we will be glad to accomodate you.

Meals
The cost of all meals and snacks on Friday and Saturday is included in the cost of conference
registration. Vegetarian meals will be available, but please let us know on your registration
form if you are vegetarian, so we can plan accordingly. We will also try to accomodate any
other special dietary needs that you might have.

In keeping with the theme of the conference, we will be trying to serve as much local food as we can (maybe as much as 90%?), and especially food that we have grown ourselves. We are running a summer youth arts and gardening program this summer and are hoping to to use the additional gardening help to grow much of our food for the conference. Maybe as the summer goes on, we will post some photos of our gardens here...

We realize that although we will be serving dinner on Saturday (6PM), some people may need
to leave earlier. Please let us know if you intend to stay for dinner on Saturday, so we can
adjust our planning.
