John Howard Yoder And the Stone-Campbell Churches
A conversation on the engagement of Yoder's theology by the churches of the Stone-Campbell tradition
We will have three plenary sessions with the following Yoder scholars:

- Professor of Religious Studies at Tyndale University College and Seminary
- Author of The Politics of the Cross: The Theology and Social Ethics of John Howard Yoder
- Will engage the liberal reading of Yoder
Gayle G. Koontz ( http://www.ambs.edu/about/staff-and-faculty/gayle-gerber-koontz )
- Professor of Theology and Ethics at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (taught alongside Yoder)
- Co-editor of A Mind Patient and Untamed: Assessing John Howard Yoder's Contributions to Theology, Ethics, and Peacemaking
- Will discuss Yoder’s contribution to conversations about inter-church unity
Mark T. Nation ( http://www.emu.edu/personnel/people/show/mtn951 )
- Professor of Theology at Eastern Mennonite Seminary
- Author of John Howard Yoder: Mennonite Patience, Evangelical Witness, Catholic Convictions
- Will discuss Yoder’s overall theology for pacifism
